Hi Alexis,

Are you look for just to track downloads or track downloads via an advertisement on the website?

Mobile App Tracking is a Mobile Advertising Attribution solution.

If these downloads are driven directly from ads we can be a great solution for you. You can contact sales@mobileapptracking.com for complete details.

I have a question: I personally have to track downloads from a swiss newpaper website which doesn’t have any tracking system. Could I do that with hasoffer? If not, how could I do that?

Thanks,

Alexis

Hey Kristina, thanks for the comment!

1) I agree with you, just typing in “Road Ninja” into the app store is easier to remember, but the examples I used in the post are direct call-to-actions, like someone is looking at the ad and takes action right then and there. This usually doesn’t require much recall from the consumer, but enough that it’s a good idea to pick a memorable keyword and short code.

2) I encourage you to open up your app store, then search “Road Ninja”. You’ll realize that in-between opening up the app store on your mobile device and downloading Road Ninja, you’re constantly being distracted by other app choices (searching “Road Ninja” resulted in 26 results). This can hurt the amount of downloads your app receives.

3) To my knowledge there isn’t a way to track the source of new downloads if someone just opens their app store and searches for it. I’m pretty sure you can see that they searched for the app in the app store, but you’ll never be able to figure out what actually drove that search.

I feel like that is a lot easier to remember. So how do you track that?
